The Goose Hunt...

I get high with a little help from my friends

I noticed alot of DANGER signs on this one...

"There it was: big and beautiful and high above us...impossible to get in one shot.

This museum is a worthy place to house this wonderful plane.

"I can't really explain the feeling I had when I approached it...I felt that I was in the presence of true GENIUS~ "

Me, Rhonda, on my first sight of the "Spruce Goose."

This man had a dream

and the genius brain

to create the world's largest airplane~

and so he did.

Hmmmm, lovely

but...   not the one I'm searching for.

Ships  of war on the horizon...

Even though they're just for show...

they still give an ominous feeling;

Quite the passionate artwork decorating these planes...

Joel looks longingly at the controls...

A lovely shiny midnight blue but...still not the one.

Getting bigger but ...no

HOT!

Looking sharp!  ^^^^^^^^

~~~NOSTALGIC~~~
I think we're getting close
(Wow, for a minute I thought it was Mr. Hughes himself... Hi Gabe!)
Oh...yeah...most definitely
"The Hercules was a monumental undertaking. It is the largest aircraft ever built. It is over five stories tall with a wingspan longer than a football field. That's more than a city block. Now, I put the sweat of my life into this thing. I have my reputation all rolled up in it and I have stated several times that if it's a failure I'll probably leave this country and never come back. And I mean it."
Howard Hughes   During a Senate hearing on 6 August 1947
MORE PHOTOS OF THE HERCULES COMING on my next tabblo...!
